Fabric-licious!

If you've visited our house you would notice we do not currently have any curtains/drapes.

Reason #1- when we moved in that was the least of my worries!
Reason #2 - with needing 108"  in length you don't just buy from the store. . .
Reason #3 - sometimes (most times) I get this great picture in my head of what I really want and then when shopping for it can't find it.  You know how that goes.
Reason #4 - fabric is quite expensive!! (main reason)

So about six or seven months ago I started my fabric search.  I started with our master bedroom because I thought it would be the easiest. Doug says it's trouble when I use the term "I thought" or "I think", but it usually works out in the end!



These along with any other fabric I choose is 100% cotton!  We recently switched to an all cotton bedspread also.  What things cotton are in your home or do you know??

Once complete I'll show you our freshened Master Bedroom.

It's almost . . . HARVEST TIME! For the Wheat Crop   Luke Bryan can sing it far better than I can say it! I am getting a little ahead of myself with the harvest time song though.  They just completed peanut planting and have started with cotton.  If it is the Lord's will, I'll get to show you pictures when those are ready for harvest too! While we're on the farm subject our middle farmer, Lockwood , will graduate Kindergarten next week.  He is very excited that he gets to be "Old McDonald" and ride on the school tractor in their play.

Welcome to the family, Camden!

The newest addition to our family has four legs, sharp teeth, floppy ears, and slobbery kisses! Yep, you guessed it  . . . we have a new puppy! Meet Camden Walker Jarrell - born December 6, 2013. He has each member of our family wrapped up tight including both sets of Grandparents. Here he is upon arrival at the Jarrell House. He made himself at home and sleeps snuggled up with Sissy every night. He even has Stella on his side! He is now almost 5 months old and weighs almost 20 lbs. He likes to chew things such as shoes, books, money, etc.... You know, anything he gets to quicker than we can! On a positive note he is house trained with only a few minor accidents, he sits when told, and he LOVES the water so we are all eager for boating season. Just look at that sweet face!

Wedding Bliss

  So grateful these two families allowed me to capture their special day.        My cousin Nicole wowed with her simple but oh so elegant dress. Such a beautiful day!   Jacqueline, Brandon, and I attended school together so photographing their wedding was such an honor.  They were married in a charming white chapel where the ceremony was so beautiful there was not a dry eye in attendance.    May your days be filled with love for years to come! xoxo
