Back to School. . . .


Wow!  Usually back to school gets easier in the sense that we are more prepared by learning from past years.  This year has really hit me hard.  Brittany going into the 7th grade (yes, I said Seventh!), Lockwood - Kindergarten, and Emerson Pre-K.  Brittany of course had a few more Summer assignments, but to throw in the mix Lockwood and Emerson's Summer work was like - Whooooaaaa.

So tonight while taking this picture I teared up while Brittany laughed at me.  Little did she know I did the same when I sent her off to Pre-K just those short years ago.  Lockwood says he doesn't like school but he's ready to see his friends.  Emerson squeezed my neck and gave me his sweet kisses then said I could get Aiden (my cousin Robin's baby) to come stay with me while he went to school. 

While having this anxious/overwhelming feeling at the same time we are truly blessed to have these precious children in our lives.  Wishing for a GREAT school year :)

It's almost . . . HARVEST TIME! For the Wheat Crop   Luke Bryan can sing it far better than I can say it! I am getting a little ahead of myself with the harvest time song though.  They just completed peanut planting and have started with cotton.  If it is the Lord's will, I'll get to show you pictures when those are ready for harvest too! While we're on the farm subject our middle farmer, Lockwood , will graduate Kindergarten next week.  He is very excited that he gets to be "Old McDonald" and ride on the school tractor in their play.

Welcome to the family, Camden!

The newest addition to our family has four legs, sharp teeth, floppy ears, and slobbery kisses! Yep, you guessed it  . . . we have a new puppy! Meet Camden Walker Jarrell - born December 6, 2013. He has each member of our family wrapped up tight including both sets of Grandparents. Here he is upon arrival at the Jarrell House. He made himself at home and sleeps snuggled up with Sissy every night. He even has Stella on his side! He is now almost 5 months old and weighs almost 20 lbs. He likes to chew things such as shoes, books, money, etc.... You know, anything he gets to quicker than we can! On a positive note he is house trained with only a few minor accidents, he sits when told, and he LOVES the water so we are all eager for boating season. Just look at that sweet face!

Wedding Bliss

  So grateful these two families allowed me to capture their special day.        My cousin Nicole wowed with her simple but oh so elegant dress. Such a beautiful day!   Jacqueline, Brandon, and I attended school together so photographing their wedding was such an honor.  They were married in a charming white chapel where the ceremony was so beautiful there was not a dry eye in attendance.    May your days be filled with love for years to come! xoxo
